Dachser: sustainable growth on solid foundation
In 2019, sales volume registered a solid increase of 1.6%, European land transport grew 2.9%, and 151 million euros were invested in logistics and transport facilities and in the IT system.
Despite an increasingly difficult world situation, Dachser managed to continue growing in 2019. The consolidated net sales volume of the logistics operator registers an increase of 1.6%, thus reaching 5,660 million euros. The Road Logistics business area has once again been the engine of this growth, increasing by 2.9% to reach 4.6 billion euros. On the other hand, there is a 4.1% decrease in sales volume in the Air & Sea Logistics business area, which is, above all, the result of lower demand for air cargo services by customers of the automotive.
