Fossil remains of about 1.5 million years found in Eritrea
At the same time than this year's excavation campaign, a collaboration has begun with the local Afar population of Engel Ela to guarantee the consumption of drinking water.
The recently completed annual excavation campaign in the Engel Ela-Ramud basin in Eritrea has yielded fossil remains of nearly 1.5 million years.
