Madrid, March 25, 2020 - Spain is experiencing long and hard days as a result of the crisis caused by COVID-19. However, even in these difficult moments, it has been possible a positive side. There is a wave of solidarity triggered through actions such as the making and donation of masks and respirators, among other initiatives.

A solidary example of these is the action launched by LA Organic, a brand of organic and 100% organic Premium Extra virgin olive oils based in Ronda (Andalusia), donating 120 bottles of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to one of the most important non-profit associations of the Malaga region, the Red Cross.

We are aware of the difficult situation in Ronda, which is why we have wanted to collaborate with the Red Cross in order to support the neighbours who are going through the worst in this crisis caused by the coronavirus, explained Santiago Muguiro, representative for LA Organic in Ronda.

The LA ORGANIC brand has a wide range of organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil products, such as the LA Original line, the company's first oils. For them, the renowned French designer Philippe Starck, artistic director of the brand, relied on the traditional metal can to create the container, with a format that results in the optimal preservation of olive oil. Other products are limited edition, such as LA Oro or others of great authenticity, such as the first LA Cuisine special organic extra virgin olive oil for use in restaurants, not to mention luxury olive oils or even vinegars created for the most demanding gourmets.

This seal of oils has become synonymous with quality and purity, and is also associated with design, avant-garde and creativity, thanks to the work of French designer Philippe Starck, co-founder and artistic director of LA ORGANIC. The oil packaging, designed by him, like his brand image, stands out for an innovative format based on a presentation with thick and thin fonts, designed to evoke the five senses. This has also made LA Organic oils very exclusive.

About LA Organic

LA ORGANIC is a brand of Premium Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with an innovative design. The oils of this firm are 100% organic and have been recognized worldwide. Its origins date back to the beginning of the 19th century, when a community of nuns, natives of Ronda, began to make oil from olive groves over 200 years old, owned by the company La Amarilla. This oil made from centennial fruits increased its expansion until it presented the LA ORGANIC brand in the 1990s.

Since then until today, this brand has reached a very high level in the market for organic and 100% organic oils, with a recognition that has been on the rise and that today is exported to more than 25 countries in the world .

The renowned French designer Philippe Starck, co-founder and artistic director of the brand, deals with the design of its packaging and brand image, thereby granting an exclusive and unique design to LA ORGANIC oils.

THE ORGANIC has been internationally recognized for its quality, being awarded by the Flos Olei Guide 2016 as one of the 20 best oils in the world and as the best organic oil by the Zurich international competition in 2015, among many other recognitions.

It is divided into two lines: LA ORGANIC olive oils and LA Organic EXPERIENCE, which proposes to know all the steps of oil production through oleotourism, using for this its 26-hectare farm in an environment of interesting landscape value, and which include routes between its olive trees (with a visit to its Greenhouse) and accommodation in its Cortijo LA ORGANIC, whose facilities also bear the Starck design seal.
