The history of Malabrigo is inseparable from its land of origin. It is impossible to talk about this wine without referring to the terroir, the result of the combination of the Tempranillo grape variety, the harsh climate with large temperature fluctuations between day and night, and the sandy-clay soil, very present in this reference and responsible for its essence. In the words of José Moro, president of Bodegas Cepa 21, this wine “perfectly represents the austerity and cold of Castile, it has a humble personality, but it overflows with magic as soon as it is uncorked. It is, in short, elegance made wine”.

Its alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 26 days at a controlled temperature.

To finish the process with aging in French oak barrels, which ends up giving it an excellent balance between the notes of wood and the indisputable role of the varietal essence.

In the mouth it is resounding but friendly, of great volume, with very ripe tannins and a long and persistent aftertaste. A full-bodied wine, but suitable to be enjoyed on any occasion, perfect for pairing with meat, but also with fish or pasta.
