Peter Barratt will be coming to talk to AWBS in March. He is the great-grandson of sufragette Alice Hawkins.

It is the perfect speaker as 2018 is the centenary year, it will be very interesting to hear all about his suffragette great-grandmother, Alice Hawkins, and her campaign for the right to vote.

The statue unveiling of Alice was raised in the House of Commons last Tuesday as part of their debate on centenary day.
