Dachser will be at LogiMAT 2024

"The logistics framework is increasingly complex, whether due to the constant evolution of consumer demands, economic or seasonal volatility, the lack of new logistics spaces and personnel or the responsibility to operate sustainably. ", says Thomas Klare, Head of Corporate Contract Logistics at Dachser. "Our customers expect more transparency, efficiency and flexibility and, at the same time, high quality standards. We meet these demands with our integrated Contract Logistics offerings, which intelligently combine storage, transportation and value-added services, as well as modern IT systems". For this reason, the slogan of Dachser's presentation at this year's fair is "Logistics solutions from a single supplier: integrated and efficient."

A strong network

Dachser invests in the professional experience of its employees and in the expansion of its global logistics network. This currently includes 163 warehouses with 2.7 million pallet spaces and more than 5,400 employees. Warehouses were created or expanded in 19 locations last year alone. These included a warehouse in Rottenburg am Neckar with more than 18,000 pallet spaces, a warehouse in Ingolstadt with 16,900 pallet spaces and two warehouses in northern France with space for more than 32,000 pallets. A warehouse with 16,500 pallet spaces was also put into operation in Atlanta, USA.

Other important milestones for the entire Dachser network are recent acquisitions and joint ventures to further strengthen performance. For example, early last year the acquisition of Dutch food logistics company Müller Fresh Food Logistics was announced. In addition, the Swedish food logistics company Frigoscandia will also become part of Dachser. Müller and Frigoscandia are among the leading suppliers in their home regions and offer transportation and storage services for frozen and temperature-controlled foods. On the other hand, the groupage and Contract Logistics business with industrial and consumer goods in Italy will be expanded with the Dachser & Fercam Italia joint venture, which will be launched this spring. "With our investments we manage to open up additional growth potential for our customers and create security and stability for the future," explains Thomas Klare.

Together with Camm Solutions

Camm Solutions, participating for the first time in this international industry event, will co-exhibit this year at the Dachser stand. The young company has developed the innovative CAMM material solution, which can be used as a packaging material, just like plastic, but, unlike plastic, it is fully compostable and recyclable.

LogiMAT is the largest intralogistics solutions fair in the world. At this three-day event, international exhibitors will showcase new technologies, products, systems and solutions to streamline, optimize and reduce the costs of internal logistics processes.
