Every two years, experts working in this field meet in Leipzig to discuss new products, innovative solutions, services and current topics related to the transport, storage and intralogistics of dangerous goods and hazardous substances as well as the safe handling of hazardous goods and materials. In addition, DACHSER Chem Logistics will also be represented this year. The logistics service provider will present its comprehensive service portfolio in Hall 2, Booth B03/C06. With central dangerous goods management teams for road, air and sea transport as well as more than 250 regional safety advisors, Dachser supports its customers in the transport of chemicals and dangerous goods as well as in the safe storage of these products. Standardized processes in the European groupage network are combined with industry-specific know-how for customers in the chemical industry.
“The GGS is an important platform for us and a good opportunity to meet customers and establish new business contacts. Personal encounters are ideal for establishing stable connections that are worthwhile for both parties, in keeping with the motto of this year's trade fair,” says Michael Kriegel, Department Head DACHSER Chem Logistics.
At the same time, at the same location, Fuel & Gas Logistics, the international trade fair for fuel, lubricants and industrial gas logistics, will be celebrating its premiere. The new trade fair, a relaunch of the PetroTrans exhibition, which took place in Kassel until 2018, covers the entire logistics chain related to transport, handling and storage, and addresses the latest developments in renewable and synthetic fuels. “This trade fair alliance will offer trade visitors synergies and added value,” adds Michael Kriegel.
Camm Solutions to be co-exhibitor
DACHSER will be bringing Camm Solutions on board as a co-exhibitor at its booth, being a driving force in the field of sustainability. Camm Solutions has developed a new type of material solution that can be used as packaging but is biodegradable and contains no microplastics. In addition, this solution enables the different layers of plastic to be separated efficiently in the recycling process, which is an important contribution to sustainability in the field of logistics.
