The “Morena” restaurant opens its facilities in Ibiza next Friday under the philosophy of using only fresh products from the market of the day in its culinary creations. Under the direction of Sergio Giraldo (former La Sastrería group and prominent chef of Michelin Star and Soles Repsol restaurants) and directed by Rafael Costin (former Nikki Beach), the establishment presents a cuisine that awakens the senses, with seafood boiled in seawater , fresh fish grilled from oaks or maple meats.

“Morena” opens its doors in the new gastronomic destination on the Golden Mile of Ibiza, called “Marina Village”, located on Paseo de Juan Carlos I, 25 and is the result of the understanding of the leisure and restaurant groups Zazú and Vivir Barefoot.

The “Morena” restaurant, where the raw materials are carefully cared for, offers relaxed lunches and lively evenings, with extended hours that begin at 1:00 p.m. and last until after midnight. Visitors can eat from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and for dinner the maple wood fires will be ready from 7:30 p.m.

The decoration of the space, with an imposing terrace of more than 250 square meters facing the Juan Carlos I promenade, has been in charge of Archidom Studio, an architecture firm that is also behind other projects that the architects have recently embarked on. promoters of “Morena”, such as “Playa Soleil” or “Marina Village”, the space that houses “Morena” itself. With these synergies, entering “Morena” is to do so in a leafy forest in the middle of the city, which thus recovers for the community a green plot in the center of the Golden Mile that should never have been lost.

Marina Village

The understanding of two groups

The leisure and restaurant groups Zazú and Vivir Descalzos unite their synergies in this new restaurant space that will further enhance the culinary scene on the island of Ibiza.

Zazú started in the city of Valencia, where it operates several successful establishments. In 2023 he made the leap to the island of Ibiza, opening a beach club called the group and which in just a few months has become one of the essentials. Their commitment has also been to deseasonalize the island, opening all year round and being a meeting point not only for tourists but mainly for residents.

The leisure and restaurant group Vivir Barefoot, a benchmark on the island of Ibiza, is behind brands as recognized and proven successful as “Roto”, “Playa Soleil” or the “Bora Bora” apartments.
