The Romantic Night of the Most Beautiful Towns arrives
With a compilation video and a special dessert. The Romantic Night is an event organized by the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain, which this year will take place on September 19.
- One of the surprises of La Noche Romántica in this edition is the creation of a video-compilation with “kissing scenes” shared online by network followers.
- It will be broadcast on Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 p.m. through the association's social networks. Some towns of the Association will project it on giant screens
- The video will be accompanied by a musical piece created especially for the occasion, as an apology for love and tenderness, a reflection of the beauty of these towns and the affection of their neighbors.
- Some hotel establishments in Los Pueblos will participate in the meeting and offer the dessert «Las Rosquillas del Amor», created for the occasion by chef Juan Pozuelo
The Romantic Night is an event that seeks to promote rural and sustainable tourism and highlight the beauty of small rural enclaves. It has been configured as one of the most special days for the municipalities that make up the Association The Most Beautiful Towns of Spain (www.lospueblosmasbonitosdeespana.org). This year, due to the conditions of the pandemic, it will not be possible to celebrate in the usual way, but this network of beautiful towns has not wanted to give up exhibiting the beauty and authenticity of its peoples and its people, and celebrating love in all its aspects, especially in a year in which feeling the love and support of those close to us is emerging as more necessary than ever.
For this, the Association has reinvented its Romantic Night, which will be held this Saturday, September 19, in what will already be its fourth edition. And it does so with an equally beautiful concept, but "more intimate", as its president, Francisco Mestre, says. One of the surprises this year is the dissemination of a video with kisses from citizens from all over Spain, which will be broadcast on the 19th at 10:00 p.m. on all social networks and in the participating towns. In some municipalities it will be projected on giant screens and in drive-ins, keeping safe distances.
It is a video that follows the thread of the last scene of the film Cinema Paradiso and that has been produced by Ilumina Films with music by Francisco Mestre. With this initiative, this year the association wanted to make all citizens protagonists.
“The pandemic will not allow this year to celebrate the typical kiss in our squares at 12 at night, nor will we be able to turn the event into a great party dedicated to love. But we can rescue the spirit of La Noche Romántica and underline the beauty of our towns with initiatives such as the creation of this video-compilation with kissing scenes starring fans who have wanted to share their love to make this emotional day possible ”, he explains President.
Due to the high participation, the final video will show only a selection of them. Francisco Mestre also wants to thank all those who have been part of this initiative, called "The Most Beautiful Kisses in Spain" who, together, have made it possible to recover a part of the magic that surrounds La Noche Romántica and that these kisses, style of the film Cinema Paradiso, remain perpetual in this video, which will remain for posterity in the collection of initiatives with identity of the Association The Most Beautiful Towns of Spain.
Restaurants and hotels: very involved with the event
The hotels and restaurants of the towns of the network are also an active part in this edition, and will entertain their clients during La Noche Romántica with a dessert designed for the occasion, «Las Rosquillas del Amor», and created by the prestigious chef Juan Pozuelo and that has incorporated into this unique dessert the emotions and love that these beautiful towns treasure.
