Enrique Riestra appointed new director of the Ibizan beach club Playa Soleil

Playa Soleil, the emblematic beach club located on the golden sands of Playa d'en Bossa (Ibiza), has just announced the appointment of its new director: the Sevillian Enrique Riestra. With a degree in Information Sciences, Riestra has an outstanding career in the hospitality industry acquired both in Spain and in other international destinations.

His foray into the world of hospitality began in 2010 in the British capital, where he worked with the prestigious Le Caprice Holding Restaurant group, in the Mayfair district. For almost three years, Enrique worked in emblematic restaurants such as Scott's and 34, which provided him with valuable experience and deep knowledge of the sector.

In 2013 he moved to Ibiza, thus marking a before and after in his career. On the Balearic island he worked, for some years, as maître d' in some of the most iconic establishments in the city: Minami, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel; and later, as Maître General at BLESS Hotel Ibiza. His contribution was fundamental to consolidate the reputation and recognition of this hotel, including obtaining the Sol Repsol and the Michelin Star in Etxeko Ibiza by Martin Berasategui, as well as the prestigious recognition of 5 Forbes stars for three consecutive years, becoming the first hotel in the Balearic Islands to achieve this and the third in Spain.

As the new director of Playa Soleil, Enrique Riestra is committed to elevating the brand to the top.
