With effect from March 28, 2024, Dachser has acquired 80% of the shares of the Dachser & Fercam Italia joint venture. This completes its acquisition of the majority part of the groupage and logistics divisions of the Italian logistics company Fercam.

The multinational Dachser will once again present its specialized logistics services for the life sciences and healthcare industry at LogiPharma. The French city of Lyon will host this fair, a world leader in the sector, which will take place between April 16 and 18. During those days, Dachser professionals will be available at stand 109 to provide specialized logistical advice.

Following exceptional economic activity as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and disruptions to supply chains around the world, the logistics industry returned to normal in 2023. Despite weak global logistics demand, at Dachser, European road transport remained stable. On the other hand, air and maritime transport has been affected by significant excess capacity and a sharp drop in rates.

Dachser will once again present its comprehensive Contract Logistics offering at the LogiMAT 2024 trade fair, which will take place from March 19 to 21, 2024 in Stuttgart. Its presentation at this fair (hall 7, stand C02) will focus on integrated solutions for the supply chain.
